SewCraft is a sewing-machine app for iPhone and iPad made by Anoop Madhusudanan. The short version is that we don't collect anything about you.
What we collect
We collect nothing. SewCraft has no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it never sends what you make, or anything you do in the app, to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your device
The things you sew, your settings, your results for today's stitch, your streaks and your patches are all kept in the app's own storage on your device. They're included in your device's backups, and they're deleted when you delete the app.
When you sew your name or trace a photo, the app keeps only the outline. A photo you trace is processed on your device by Apple's Vision framework, and the photo itself is never stored or sent anywhere.
iOS may give the app crash and performance reports through MetricKit. Those reports stay on your device unless you choose to send them to us with "Send a problem report" in Settings, and you decide where they go.
Notifications
If you turn on the reminder for today's stitch, the app schedules the reminders on your device itself, and nothing is sent to a server to do it.
Photos
Picking a photo to trace uses Apple's photo picker, which gives the app only the picture you choose. If you save a picture or a video of your sewing to Photos, iOS asks whether the app may add it to your library, and SewCraft can never read your library.
Game Center
If you use Game Center, your scores for today's stitch and the patches you earn are sent to Apple's Game Center service under your Game Center profile. Apple's privacy policy covers that, and you can read it at apple.com/legal/privacy.
This website
This website has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and it doesn't load anything from other companies. Like any website, it's served by a hosting company (Vercel), which keeps standard request logs, such as IP addresses, for a short time to run the site and keep it safe.
Children
SewCraft doesn't collect personal information from anyone, and that includes children.
Changes and contact
If this policy ever changes, we'll post the new version here with a new date. If you have a question about it, please email amazedsaint@gmail.com.
